Introduction to Lifestyle

This category focuses on lifestyle to awaken believers to the worldly lifestyles that they have emulated as normal. The sinful or erroneous lifestyles of believers have been due two factors:
1) Trying to bear fruits independent of Jesus: Jesus said, "I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch of mine that does not produce fruit. He also trims every branch that produces fruit to prepare it to produce even more. You have already been prepared to produce more fruit by the teaching I have given you. Stay joined to me and I will stay joined to you. No branch can produce fruit alone. It must stay connected to the vine. It is the same with you. You cannot produce fruit alone. You must stay joined to me. "I am the vine, and you are the branches. If you stay joined to me, and I to you, you will produce plenty of fruit. But separated from me you won't be able to do anything. If you don't stay joined to me, you will be like a branch that has been thrown out and has dried up. All the dead branches like that are gathered up, thrown into the fire and burned. Stay joined together with me, and follow my teachings. If you do this, you can ask for anything you want, and it will be given to you. Show that you are my followers by producing much fruit. This will bring honor to my Father (Jhn 15:1-8 ERV).
2) Wanting to be like the world: If the world hates you, remember that they hated me first. If you belonged to the world, the world would love you as it loves its own people. But I have chosen you to be different from those in the world. So you don't belong to the world, and that is why the world hates you (Jhn 15:18-19 ERV).
Believers forget that they are not of this world: I have given them your teaching. And the world has hated them, because they don't belong to the world, just as I don't belong to the world (Jhn 17:14 ERV).
In wanting to be like the world, many believers have learnt to follow the trends of the world. But, remember that Jesus warned when He said: The Pharisees were listening to all these things. They criticized Jesus because they all loved money. Jesus said to them, "You make yourselves look good in front of people. But God knows what is really in your hearts. What people think is important is worth nothing to God (Luk 16:14-15 ERV). You are not of this world just like Jesus was not of this world.
So, I ask: What profit is there if you gain the whole world—and lose eternal life? What can be compared with the value of eternal life (Mat 16:26 TLB)? Remember that James said: True spirituality that is pure in the eyes of our Father God is to make a difference in the lives of the orphans, and widows in their troubles, and to refuse to be corrupted by the world’s values (Jas 1:27 TPT). Therefore, in this category, I have taken a few examples of such lifestyles to help believers correct themselves today. I pray that the eyes of your understanding be open to catch all I have spoken about in this category. In Jesus’ name. Amen! I pray that you make the necessary corrections and realign back to Father YAH’s will for your life. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
