Love Letter on Character

Dear believers, do you know that you have to be prepared for the second coming of Jesus? Do you know that you only delay the second coming of Jesus when you are not prepared? Why? It is because if Jesus comes now, many believers would be lost to Hell. That was exactly what He told me. So, it is out of His mercy that He has given us time to repent. To summarize what I have spoken about in the category titled Character, I take the following scripture: What I am saying is that you must be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect (Mat 5:48 ERV). Father YAH expects perfection from us and we can only get perfect when we emulate His character, not the character of Satan that makes imperfect. I have spoken extensively on each point as individual pieces but I would summarize here.

On Lying: Lying is not a character trait of Father YAH but of Satan. You are emulating Satan when you lie. Jesus said: Your father is the devil. You belong to him. You want to do what he wants. He was a murderer from the beginning. He was always against the truth. There is no truth in him. He is like the lies he tells. Yes, the devil is a liar. He is the father of lies (Jhn 8:44 ERV). Therefore, the simple proof that you belong to Father YAH’s household is by being a truth speaker like Father YAH is a truth speaker. Truth is good and that is why Jesus said: So Jesus said to the Hebrews who believed in him, "If you continue to accept and obey my teaching, you are really my followers. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free (Jhn 8:31-32 ERV emphasis mine)." Truth seeking and truth speaking would always help you stay away from lying. Above all, honouring Father YAH and seeking His will would rid you of lying. Jesus said: People who really want to do what God wants will know that my teaching comes from God. They will know that this teaching is not my own. If I taught my own ideas, I would just be trying to get honor for myself. But if I am trying to bring honor to the one who sent me, I can be trusted. Anyone doing that is not going to lie (Jhn 7:17-18 ERV). 

So, get out of the lying lane because no liar makes it to Heaven, rather they go to Hell: But I will tell you what will happen to cowards and to everyone who is unfaithful or dirty-minded or who murders or is sexually immoral or uses witchcraft or worships idols or tells lies. They will be thrown into that lake of fire and burning sulfur. This is the second death (Rev 21:8 CEV).

But outside the city will be dogs, witches, immoral people, murderers, idol worshipers, and everyone who loves to tell lies and do wrong (Rev 22:15 CEV). Lying is a sin and it helps to open the door to other sins. Father YAH hates lies! Your mouth was created to be used for far greater things than lying. Do not waste your ability to speak or your freewill by lying.

On Envying: You do not need to want something someone has to the point of envying them. If it is a good thing that you need, you can always ask Father YAH and He will give you. James said: Do you know where your fights and arguments come from? They come from the selfish desires that make war inside you. You want things, but you don't get them. So you kill and are jealous of others. But you still cannot get what you want. So you argue and fight. You don't get what you want because you don't ask God. Or when you ask, you don't receive anything, because the reason you ask is wrong. You only want to use it for your own pleasure (Jas 4:1-3 ERV). Father YAH created you for far greater things, and I tell you, if you walk in your God-given purpose, you will have no time for envying. Why? You will not be chasing everything others chase. Envy will always lead you to sin. So, drop it!

On Unforgiveness: Do not hinder your healing, prayer or justice by holding something against someone in your heart. Let Father YAH take on your battle as you forgive. Unforgiveness towards humans is never of Father YAH but of Satan. Take up Father YAH’s nature and get rid of unforgiveness. Father YAH is the righteous judge who gives justice. God is a good judge. He always condemns evil (Psa 7:11 ERV).

That's because I am the LORD and I love justice. I hate stealing and everything that is wrong. So I will give the people what they deserve. I will make an agreement with my people forever (Isa 61:8 ERV). If you keep unforgiveness as a lifestyle, you are in essence turning away from Father YAH for justice and turning to Satan whether you know it or not. As a result, you would seek revenge with Satan’s help. Therefore, treat forgiveness like sowing and reaping as Jesus taught so that you can qualify for Father YAH’s forgiveness as well.

On Apathy: You were created to be eager for righteousness not to be lukewarm. Being lukewarm will always get you to Hell. Jesus said: "I know what you do. You are not hot or cold. I wish that you were hot or cold! But you are only warm—not hot, not cold. So I am ready to spit you out of my mouth (Rev 3:15-16 ERV). Associating with the world will always get you to the point of lukewarmness but separation from the world and consecration to Father YAH is where you will find longevity. Blessings belong to those who are hot for Father YAH: Great blessings belong to those who want to do right more than anything else. God will fully satisfy them (Mat 5:6 ERV). Being hot will always keep you a remnant of Father YAH! So, stay hot!

On Competition: I have shown you how Father YAH hates competition among humans and wants them to live in peace. Competition only brings division and that is why Jesus said: …"Every kingdom that fights against itself will be destroyed. And every city or family that is divided against itself will not survive (Mat 12:25 ERV).” Do not be part of those destroying Father YAH’s unity for humanity or the Church. Love and keep Father YAH’s friends around and stay away from Father YAH’s enemies because they are the ones who bring division on this earth and to Father YAH’s household. Change your mindset and please Father YAH today by walking in your God-given purpose. There, you will find peace, contentment and your usefulness. When you find that, there will be no time for competition.

On Selfishness: Father YAH is not selfish. See how He made the earth with everything the human needed for free. However, Satan is selfish and did not make the earth or even his home called Hell. Even with that, when humans allow Satan access to this earth through witchcraft, he teaches his nature of selfishness to humans. Selfishness has no place on this earth or in Jesus’ Church. James said: For jealousy and selfishness are not God’s kind of wisdom. Such things are earthly, unspiritual, inspired by the devil. For wherever there is jealousy or selfish ambition, there will be disorder and every other kind of evil (Jas 3:15-16 TLB). Selfishness is of Satan and it will lead you into sin. Therefore, drop selfishness and take up Father YAH’s selfless nature and you will truly be rich!

In sum, I say to you (believers) emulate Father YAH and make yourself ready for the second return of Jesus (the Christ). Jesus said: "Be ready! Be fully dressed and have your lights shining. Be like servants who are waiting for their master to come home from a wedding party. The master comes and knocks, and the servants immediately open the door for him. When their master sees that they are ready and waiting for him, it will be a great day for those servants. I can tell you without a doubt, the master will get himself ready to serve a meal and tell the servants to sit down. Then he will serve them. Those servants might have to wait until midnight or later for their master. But they will be glad they did when he comes in and finds them still waiting. "What would a homeowner do if he or she knew when a thief was coming? You know he or she would not let the thief break in. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Human will come at a time when you don't expect him!" Peter said, "Lord, did you tell this story for us or for all people?" The Lord said, "Who is the wise and trusted servant? The master trusts one servant to give the other servants their food at the right time. Who is the servant that the master trusts to do that work? When the master comes and finds him or her doing the work he gave him or her, it will be a day of blessing for that servant! I can tell you without a doubt, the master will choose that servant to take care of everything he owns. "But what will happen if that servant is evil and thinks his or her master will not come back soon? He or she will begin to beat the other servants, men and women. He or she will eat and drink until he or she has had too much. Then the master will come when the servant is not ready, at a time when the servant is not expecting him. Then the master will punish that servant and send him or her away to be with the other people who don't obey. "That servant knew what his or her master wanted him or her to do. But he or she did not make himself or herself ready or try to do what his or her master wanted. So that servant will be punished very much! But what about the servant who does not know what his or her master wants? He or she also does things that deserve punishment. But he or she will get less punishment than the servant who knew what he or she should do. Whoever has been given much will be responsible for much. Much more will be expected from the one who has been given more (Luk 12:35-48 ERV emphasis mine)." Make the most of the time we have left and let it count for something good!
